The government body KHDA (Knowledge and Human Development Authority) makes sure to regulate universities with proper criteria and regularly performs quality inspections. If the desired standards are not followed or up to a level, after issuing warnings, have the authority to shut down the university or institution in totality.
  4. Internationational university rankings - UAE is represented very well in international university rankings compared to other Arab countries in the MENA region. 
  5. Teaching staff - Despite UAE having the policy of Emiratization, be it public or private universities; the staff has to follow strict criteria to be able to teach a specific course or program. Foreign instructors also come to UAE for reasons as a. tax-free earnings compared to those paid in western countries, able to have a lavish lifestyle, have free housing and health insurance and also have 60 days of paid vacation every year.
